About This Course

Work-based learning is the defining feature of high-quality VET. When it is designed well it produces graduates who are genuinely work-ready, professionally confident and able to contribute from their first day in employment.

This course gives VET professionals a thorough, practical and immediately applicable framework for designing, managing and assessing work-based learning. It draws on the Erasmus Quality Standards for VET mobility, the ECVET credit transfer framework and the latest European research on effective workplace learning design.

The course is aligned with the Herning Declaration and the Erasmus+ VET quality standards.

Inclusion and DiversityErasmus Quality Standards for VET
  • Apply the Erasmus Quality Standards for VET mobility to the design and management of learner placements.

The Erasmus Quality Standards set minimum requirements for preparation, monitoring, recognition and follow-up. You will know exactly what is required at each stage and have practical tools for meeting these requirements efficiently.
